Surf Lessons
Apollo Bay Surf and Kayak run surf lessons daily and are conducted by qualified instructors who will cover surf safety and technique. The lessons include the use of wet suits and safe soft boards and are always fun. You will have plenty of opportunities to practice your newly learnt techniques under the watchful eye of an instructor. This activity is suited to ages seven and older. Please note that this is a water activity and participants are required to know how to swim
Kayak To Seals
Kayaking to the Australian Fur Seals in the Marengo Marine Sanctuary. One and a Half hours of instruction and touring, paddling with qualified guides, in easy-to-use sit-on-top-kayaks. Have fun paddling in the two seated kayaks, and then the adventurous can catch waves back to the shore. Learn about the Australian Fur Seals and how they live. Experience them up close and personal and fingers crossed they may swim over to learn about you. To participate it is a requirement that you can competently swim. (This activity is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.) This is a great activity for both beginners and experienced kayakers. Activity is weather dependent.
