Shannon Creek Dam

Not only handy for supplying the Clarence Valley with delicious drinking water, but the Shannon Creek Dam is also quite spectacular. There’s a completely accessible viewing area from the dam wall, a barebeque and picnic area, and a 1.4-kilometre track along Shannon Creek. Picnic time!

It's a good idea to check with Clarence Valley Council prior to your trip as the dam may be shut from time to time for operational or public safety reasons.
