Hartley

The Hartley Valley is a picturesque rural area on the western side of the Blue Mountains made up of Hartley, Little Hartley and Hartley Vale villages.

Hartley Historic Site retains many colonial buildings. Its historic inns, courthouse, churches and post office provide a fascinating look into colonial architecture. Tours are available through the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS). Hartley is home to many beautiful gardens, with regular garden festivals and events held throughout the year. There are some scenic walking tracks to explore in the area

Nearby, Lithgow, Mount Victoria and Blackheath are worth a visit.
