Kalimna Cottage was the first hand crafted cottage built by Kevin and Ros Runciman at Yeranda. A secluded position on their 57 hectare wild life refuge property, it required the use of solar power for lighting and gas appliances. It was built to AS 1428.1 1993 (the Australian Standard for mobility limited guests) and has had a feature out door shower added which is ramped for access. The hexagonal shower is fully "under the stars" and a memorable part of staying in this fully self-contained cottage. An amazing loo with a view is separate to the cottage and looks out to the bush and down to a small dam which in summer boasts a mass of beautiful waterlilies. An internal shower and toilet as well.

Pindari was the second cottage to open at Yeranda and as with Kalimna it has a feature outdoors shower, a cooking area outside for camp oven cooking, jaffles, billy tea (this is available at all three cottages) The outdoor showers and camp cooking areas are in addition to the facilities inside. Pindari has a queen sized bed room plus an extended living area where there are two single beds. This cottage is suitable for small families or two couples.
